About the Founder

I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, surrounded by flour-dusted countertops and the smell of fresh bread. Baking wasn’t a hobby in my family — it was a way of life. From a young age, I worked in our family bakery, learning the craft hands-on and developing a deep respect for time-honored techniques and quality ingredients.

I later attended the University of Minnesota, where I continued to refine my interests and perspective, but ultimately found that my true education had always been happening where it mattered most: in the bakery. Years of daily, hands-on experience taught me what can’t be learned from textbooks — patience, precision, and consistency. Over time, I mastered the art of baking through repetition, discipline, and a genuine love for the process.

While working in the bakery, I began to notice a gap in the market. High-quality pretzel products like ours were widely available to restaurants and retailers, but rarely accessible directly to the people who actually wanted them at home. I believed customers deserved the same fresh, handcrafted pretzels that professionals relied on — without needing to be a restaurant buyer to get them.

That realization led to the creation of Cream City Pretzels: a way to bring Milwaukee-made, bakery-quality pretzels straight to your door. Every product we ship reflects the craft, care, and tradition I grew up with — baked fresh, made by hand, and meant to be shared.
